Gene Crout has been composing and arranging music almost from the time he started playing the bass guitar at age 11. Since that time, he has completed a degree in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and has composed music and designed sound effects for Interactive CD-ROM titles, Internet Websites, Radio and Television commercials and commercial music CD releases.

Gene's compositional style ranges from Baroque ensembles, to Classic Rock and Heavy Metal, to Electronica and New Age. His compositions are always deep, emotive and compelling.

Gene's sound design can be synthetic or natural, composed or chaotic. From corporate identifiers and button sounds to natural event sequences, Gene's sound designs are right to the point and convincing.
